Leading the fight against Neurofibromatosis

3 PEAKS CHALLENGE

15th-18th June 2006
Ascend the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales...
A major challenge undertaken by many walkers each year. There are many reasons for attempting the Challenge, whether it be to raise funds for a deserving charitable cause such as the Neurofibromatosis Association, to test yourself against the mountains or simply for the sheer enjoyment of being amongst some of the most dramatic scenery in the World. Whatever your reason for rising to The Challenge it will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

The Event will run over the weekend of the 15th-18th June 2006 and will last approximately 36 hours, (Snowdon to Ben Nevis).

It is not possible to make this a speed challenge due to the use of coaches. The total walking distance covered over the entire event is "very approximately" 43km (27 miles).

The total height climbed is approx 3,500 metres (11,460 feet) which is nearly equivalent to the Mount Everest comfort zone or the upper limit of the tree-line in the Rocky Mountains.

For an application form please email the The Neurofibromatosis Association events department at info@nfauk.org or call on 020 8481 0484
