Why we need your support!
Nick Rose, the former CE of the NFA explains why we need your support.
"Ever since the charity was founded back in 1982, we have been committed to supporting those with NF, their families and the professionals working with them.
We now provide many services such as information, support, advice, advocacy work and funding innovative research. Our on going challenge is ensure that everyone with NF has the full support and information they need in order that they can have the highest possible quality of life.
Without the generosity of our supporters, we simply could not acheive this. Nor could we plan for the future and seek ways of expanding our current services. I know it is a bit of a cliche, but every penny that we receive will enable us to help others.
The charity has been for a while, stagnant. But this is changing. With a new brand, web site and Board as well as our mission and vision to drive us forward, the NFA is changing. However, in this day and age, in a highly competative market where we are battling against charities with a higher profile, it is a going to be a real challenge.
For many with NF, they often face a daily battle agaisnt many issues and we are dedicated to providing as much support as we can to those in need. We cannot achieve this however, or develop more services, without the generosity of our supporters.
I do hope that you will be willing to join us, as together, we will be able to help transform the lives of those with Neurofibromatosis."
