Gift aid for those who are unfamiliar with it is a fantastic bonus for charities: if you are a UK tax payer your donation can be increased by 28% at no extra cost to yourself.
The current reclaim amount is 28p for every £1.00 you give:
- For example if you donate £50.00 to the Association we can reclaim an extra £14.00
As you can imagine this is a great bonus to us - we need everyone who does a sponsored event for us to claim gift aid!
There is a space on our sponsor forms for people to indicate that they want their donation to be considered for gift aid.
For a donation to qualify for Gift Aid you must list the donors/your full postal details inc postcode and must pay income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax reclaimed by the Neurofibromatosis Association on the donation:
