Shine A Light On NF

Here we are gang - the countdown to World NF Awareness Day has officially begun!

As many of you know, last year the Children's Tumor Foundation in North America ran a campaign to 'Shine a Light on NF'.

Members of our amazing community here in the UK successfully contributed to the campaign, managing to get a number of landmarks and buildings in England to light up in support of those affected by NF too.
The full list of everywhere that took part can be found here:

This year, The Neuro Foundation is committed to working alongside the Children's Tumor Foundation to increase the reach and impact of the 'Shine a Light on NF' campaign.

We already have a number of places on board that we'll be letting you know about over the coming days, but we need your help to really make this campaign a success!

We are urging you all to contact your local councils to ask for bridges and buildings to be lit up, along with businesses and landmarks and anywhere else you can think of that could do the same!

We have a template letter of support we can provide you with and will be on hand to help with any aspect of the campaign you need us for.

Our aim is not only to improve on the number of buildings and landmarks taking place from last year, but for it to be such a successful campaign that it receives press and media coverage the world over - not just raising awareness but also educating people about neurofibromatosis.
Help us make this a reality!

The letter of support is available for download here and we will have updates on the campaign coming to you regularly.

Please show your support for this campaign and help us make World NF Awareness Day 2016 the most successful one ever! Thank you!
